Nov. 19, 2013 – For immediate release
Beginning this week, Campus Safety Officers, from the Campus Safety Services, will begin handing out Positive Tickets to on-campus residents.
The Positive Ticketing project, which was developed in co-operation with the Department of Housing and Conference Services, aims to reward residents for having a positive influence in the residence community. Campus safety also hopes the project will build positive relationships between residents and the Campus Safety Services.
Recipients of the positive tickets will be able to redeem their ticket at the Housing Office (261 Stormont House) for a Tim Hortons gift card.
The project is a product of the Community Development committee which was created in the summer of 2012. The committee sees members of Campus Safety, Residence Fellows and staff of Housing and Conference Services working together to improve safety for Carleton’s on-campus residents.
