The Campus Safety Services investigates a number of Break and Enters

The Campus Safety Services and the Ottawa Police Service are investigating a number of break and enters to private offices on campus.

Over the holiday break, an office within the Architecture building was broken into with several valuable electronic items stolen. A number of other private offices also showed signs of forced entry but no property was reported missing from within.

Sometime between 2 p.m on January 6th 2013 and 10 a.m. on January 7th 2013, a private office in the Architecture building was broken into and a computer was stolen from within.

Sometime between 5:00pm on January 12th 2013 and 1p.m. on January 13th 2013, a room in the Mackenzie Engineering building was broken into and a television was stolen from the room.

In all cases reports have been submitted to the Ottawa Police Service.

Anyone with information on these break and enters or any incident on campus is asked to contact the Campus Safety Services by calling 613-520-3612 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477.
