Theft – Social Sciences Research Building

Oct. 21, 2013 – For immediate release

On  Oct, 17, 2013, the Campus Safety Services received a report of a theft from a room on the second level of the Social Sciences Research Building (SSRB). An individual advised that she had placed her purse within a private room and departed momentary. Upon returning to the room the purse was missing. The theft is believed to have occurred between 1:00 p.m. and 1:10 p.m.

The investigation is on-going and a copy of the report was forwarded to Ottawa Police.

The Campus Safety Services reminds all community members to lock their doors when away from their offices and never leave valuables unattended.
