“Tip an officer” raises over $975 for the Special Olympics

The Campus Safety Services and the Ottawa Police Service would like to thank the Carleton Community for supporting the Special Olympics through their “Tip an Officer” event on March 26th 2013. The event saw officers from the Campus Safety Services and Ottawa Police Service serve 116 people at Baker’s grill between 7:30am and 10am. Through tips and donations, the Carleton community donated over $975 which will go directly to the Special Olympics.
The Campus Safety Services would also like to thank everyone who assisted in making this event a success, including Baker’s restaurant Chef Stephane, Server Jonathan and Manager Martin St. Denis.
