Update – Theft of mobile phones – Dunton Tower

On Oct. 31, 2013, the Ottawa Police Service, laid theft charges in relation to the theft of two mobile phones stolen from an office on the 8th level of Dunton Tower. The male, who had no affiliation with Carleton University, was identified through the use of on-campus Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras.

Oct. 16, 2013 – For immediate release
On Oct 11 2013, the Campus Safety Services received a report of a theft from a private office on the 8th level of Dunton Tower. An individual advised that she had two mobile phones stolen from an unsecured office. The theft is believed to have occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 2013.
The investigation is on-going and a copy of the report was forwarded to Ottawa Police Service.
