The Department of University Safety is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Dispatcher.
Under the general supervision of the Shift Manager, the Assistant Dispatcher is a member of a team of public safety specialists responsible for providing personal safety for members of the university community in a courteous, helpful and professional manner. This casual position functions as a supportive role to the full-time Dispatcher and is responsible for receiving, dispatching and assisting in coordinating response to calls for service from the campus community in addition to monitoring security systems.
