Carleton’s Campus Safety Services (CSS) has a community-focused initiative: the Resource Officer Program—designed to bring safety services closer to YOU!

This program emphasizes approachability, transparency, and trust, with Resource Officers acting as informal, friendly points of contact for non-emergency matters. With no fixed schedules, engagement is shaped around what you need—on your time, your terms.

Whether it’s a casual conversation or help navigating safety concerns, the Resource Officer is here to connect. Plus, with support from the Engagement and Inclusion Officer (EIO), the program ensures consistency and responsiveness—even with rotating shifts.
