Every year, the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering holds a 4th year capstone project video competition, where students have the opportunity to showcase their work. This year, the competition was tight. We have awarded two second place winners and a first! Congratulations to all the students and their supervisors – we are celebrating a job well done!

First Place: Hasan Baig, Riley Johnston, Collins Mbogori and Daniel Wall’s project titled “Hand Gesture Recognition using Machine Learning” supervised by Prof. Ajila.

Second Place: Alana McKee and William Kohler’s project titled “Haptic Pen: A tactile feedback stylus for augmented reality in medical training” supervised by Prof. Rossa.
