Starting in September 2022, incoming PhD student Mahsa Sinaei will work on designing health data visualization systems to support collaborative diagnosis and treatment decisions. Her thesis is about using multi-interactional and large displays to visualize patient data, in order to assist physicians with different specialties in discussing patients’ conditions and making decisions regarding their treatment plans. This will result in increasing patient engagement in their care, enhancing physicians’ time management and reducing healthcare expenses. Congratulations Mahsa!
