The School of Computer Science invites applications from members of the CUPE 4600-2 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach courses that will be offered during the  Winter 2025 Term. Specific courses requiring CIs are listed below and course descriptions are available at: calendar.carleton.ca/undergrad/courses/COMP/

 Applicants are required to have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications. Previous teaching experience in the subject area is not required but will be considered an asset. CI stipend can be found in the Collective Agreement.

Applications should be sent to the School of Computer Science, at SCSApplication@cunet.carleton.ca. As per article 15.3 of the current CUPE 4600–2 Collective Agreement, applicants are required to submit an up-to-date CV that includes a complete listing of all courses taught within the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 bargaining unit at Carleton University; evidence of teaching competence including previous teaching evaluations at Carleton or at another institution; contact information for two references; and a Contract Instructor Application Form.

A note to all applicants: As per Articles 16.3 and 16.4 in the CUPE 4600-2 Collective Agreement, the posted vacancies listed below are first offered to applicants meeting the incumbency criterion. All positions are subject to budgetary approval.
