Professor Kelly Fritsch Publishes New Book “Broken Worlds, Disabled Kin: Strategies for Collective Survival”

Congratulations to Professor Kelly Fritsch on the publication of her new book, Broken Worlds, Disabled Kin: Strategies for Collective Survival, co-authored with Anne McGuire. Responding to the ways hostile social and economic structures such as racial capitalism, neoliberalism, and settler colonialism unevenly target certain populations and environments, the authors put forward the making of disabled kin as a way to foster solidarity and collective survival in a world all too often broken by design.
The book is available open access through the University of Minnesota’s Manifold Series or you can buy it at z.umn.edu/b8y8 and save 30% with code MNUTPS26
