Kassandra Nelson, MA Sociology (2024)

My experience at Carleton was challenging and exciting. Starting an MA in the middle of a pandemic is definitely not for the faint of heart and it took a little longer than I planned. However, with a lot of support from people within and outside of the Carleton community, I finished. I would like to thank Patricia LaCroix for her weekly check-ins, and the peer mentors during the winter of 2024 who hosted writing clinics.
