| On what Carleton has given her…“One of the best things that you can do in my opinion is have the applied degree and the research degree; that the combination of the two of them gives you the most amazing life…I had continued to use my research experience that I got here at Carleton for the rest of my life…whatever I’ve done in the course of my long career, I’ve moved around to different specialties and some of them quite unrelated to one another, but it didn’t matter because I had the skill to do the research to evaluate the problem and come up with something. It’s been very exciting.” | |
