The MJ1 “Bootcamp” class spent the morning of October 9 at CBC. Despite the manic tempo of the Ottawa newsroom at election time, they had a session with the CBC’s polling expert and blogger, Eric Grenier; a newsroom tour from the Ottawa bureau chief (and J-school alumnus) Rob Russo; sat in on a story meeting for Power and Politics; and met on the local news set with news anchor (and also alumnus) Omar Dabaghi-Pacheco, who told the class not to let Prof. Adams scare them.
