The Centre for Media and Transitional Societies (CMTS) is offering 16 media internships in the developing world this summer for students in the School of Journalism and Communication through a partnership with World University Service Canada’s Uniterra program and with Farm Radio International.

The deadline for applications is Monday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. For full details and for the application materials, please check online at tinyurl.com/cmts2016.

Internships will be offered in such places as Bolivia, Guatemala, Peru, Haiti, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. 

These 10-week placements are open only to students in Carleton’s School of Journalism and Communication and come with a $3,000 travel grant.
