The Faculty of Science is hosting this interdisciplinary symposium with an intent to bring diverse folks from within and outside Carleton to come together and talk about Climate change and the impact on health. The keynote speaker will be Andre Picard! You are encouraged to attend or submit an abstract if this is of interest to you!

In affiliation with the STAR (Stress Trauma and Resilience) working group, the CHAIM Centre is pleased to be hosting its inaugural live audience symposium on Friday, May 27th! This event will bring together academics from a range of disciplines to address topics in climate change and health.

The event program is now finalized and we are accepting abstracts to be included in our Symposium Poster Competition. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, May 10th. We invite you to submit a your presentation here.

*We are pleased to be hosting this live audience event on campus in Richcraft Hall. This venue is spacious and well-ventilated for our guests and we are ascribing to COVID event protocols as stipulated by the Carleton Risk Management Group. This event will also be live streamed and available for those wishing to participate virtually.
