Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention 2023 – Call for Posters
The 2023 Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention is extending a call for posters for the regular and student competition poster sessions. The goal of the Poster Session is the highlight research on fruit, vegetables and alternative crops in Ontario allowing growers and members of ag-industry to see the excellent work that you do in support of the many commodities they grow. To submit a poster in either session, complete the attached application form and return to me, Cara McCreary, or Denise Beaton (copied here).
When: February 22 – 23, 2023
Where: Niagara Falls Convention Centre, 6815 Stanley Ave., Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3Y9
Application due date: Sunday January 29, 2023
Poster PDF due date: Wednesday February 8, 2023
What’s new this year?
- We are asking ALL submissions (regular and student competition) to be entered using the Poster Submission Form.
- Both traditional research posters and infographics that can convey appropriate details are encouraged.
- The student poster competition PRIZES HAVE INCREASED as follows:
1st Prize – $750
2nd Prize – $500
3rd Prize – $300
The student competition will be limited to the first 20 students. Any additional posters will be included in the regular session. More details and competition rules can be found in the call for posters and application form attached, and also at http://ofvc.ca/posters.html
