The Ontario Chapter of The Wildlife Society (OCTWS) is hosting its annual conference March 24-26th, 2023. The conference will be  held in Peterborough, with some events live-streamed virtually. Our theme this year is “Methods in Wildlife Research”.  Friday will feature three short analysis/coding workshops. On Saturday we will be hosting a panel discussion on methods in wildlife research with Dr. Erica Nol (Trent University), Jessica Linton (Natural Resource Solutions Inc) and Philip DeWitt (OMNRF). The afternoon will feature contributed talks and posters, a student-professional mixer, banquet dinner, and evening social. On Sunday we will be hosting our AGM and a keynote talk by Dr. Brad Fedy (University of Waterloo).

This conference is a great opportunity to connect with fellow wildlife researchers in Ontario and for graduate students to present research. Our call for abstracts is currently open, and closes Friday, February 3rd. We are also offering student travel grants to help offset travel costs for students presenting research, which are also due February 3rd.
