Time: 8:00 am to 11:00 am

Location: Marble Woodlands, Concession 4A, Mississippi Mills, ON K0A 1A0 (Google Maps link here)

This morning outing will take us along the well-maintained trail loop at Marble Woodlands as we slowly search for forest birds such as warblers, thrushes, vireos, and tanagers. We’ll cover approximately 3.7 km at a relaxed pace. Trip leader Sheila Craig will offer guidance to new birders on spotting and listening for birds, using binoculars effectively, and recording sightings in eBird – an excellent tool for both tracking your observations and discovering new birding locations.

This event is free, with a suggested minimum donation of $10 per person to support MMLT’s conservation work. Registration is limited to 18 participants to ensure everyone has a good view – secure your spot now! If you’ve registered but can no longer attend, please let us know (admin@mmlt.ca) so we can offer your spot to someone else.
