Evolution of Behavioural Rules: Some Theory
Dr. Ingela Alger, University of Toulouse, France
Faculty Host: Tom Sherratt
Evolutionary Theorist • School of economics
Evolutionary game theory provides predictions regarding behaviours in strategic interactions. When this theory is extended to allow for the evolution of behavioural rules, as opposed to the evolution of behaviours, the predictions are altered. The talk will provide an overview of recent contributions to this literature.
