Abacus Data is in the process of assembling an online community of opinion leaders on public policy issues in the form of the Vertex Panel. While most polls sample the general population, the Vertex Panel is being created to take periodic soundings of a select group of parliamentarians, political staff, journalists, business and labour leaders, advocacy groups and prominent scholars on the most pressing public policy questions of the day. The Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs will provide input into the subjects to be explored. In return, Abacus Data is creating a scholarship fund and paid internship opportunities for Kroeger College students.
