Online Photo Submission FAQs

You only need a Campus Card if you are using on-campus resources (Athletics, Library, door access to Residence or labs). We do NOT mail Campus Cards. The Campus Card Office also provides you with your transit card (U-Pass).

Step 1: Register for Classes

We can only produce your card(s) when you are registered in a current or upcoming term. To avoid disappointment, please also check the transit card (U-Pass) distribution dates. We can’t provide your U-Pass early.

Step 2: Submit Your Photo

If you already have an approved photo on file, or are a Special Student, you may NOT use this online submission process. Instead, you can visit our office.

IMPORTANT: use a laptop or desktop to access this service for best results.

  1. Check our photo requirements. Use a JPG file type for best results.
  2. Sign into the Web Card Centre with your MyCarletonOne credentials.
  3. Select “My Photo” and “Submit Photo” from the top menu.

Detailed Instructions: Online Photo Submission

Step 3: Check your photo status

Verify that your Web Card Centre notifications are active for photo uploads, and check your Carleton email for updates. We will review your image within 3 business days. TIP: If you don’t know how to access your Carleton email, contact Information Technology Services (ITS).

If your photo was accepted, you will receive instructions for picking up your Campus Card and (if applicable) your U-Pass in the email notification.

If your photo was rejected, you need to resubmit it following the same steps. The email notification will tell you what was wrong – make sure you are choosing a new image when necessary!

Step 4: Get your Card(s)

After your photo is accepted, you will receive instructions for picking up your Campus Card and (if applicable) your U-Pass in the email notification. To avoid disappointment, please check the transit card (U-Pass) distribution dates. We can’t provide your U-Pass early.

TIP: Students attending a CU 1001 Experience Day or who will be living in Residence and meet all communicated deadlines do not need to make a separate trip to campus to receive their card(s). They will be available when you arrive for your chosen program or move in date.
