Career Services offers customized career readiness workshops for both undergraduate and graduate club and societies. Our team members are available to present on topics such as resume, cover letter and LinkedIn design, or other career-related topics that would meet your club or society’s needs.

Please submit your workshop request a minimum of 6 weeks prior to your desired date. Requests are prioritized based on the alignment of goals, strategy and staff availability. Our busiest times are September, November, January, March, May, and July.

Note: the workshop requester or their designate must be present for the entire duration of the workshop(s) requested.

For requests outside of the classroom, the workshop requester is responsible for the following:

  • Communications and event promotions to ensure a minimum registration of 20 Carleton students and/or recent alumni;
  • Coordinate event registration and advise Career Services if registration is lower than the minimum (please note the workshop may be cancelled if there is a registration is lower than 20 registrants);
  • Organize appropriate technology and technology facilitation for workshop delivery;
  • Book suitable space for in-person events or set-up online platform (e.g. Zoom meeting).
