The Undeclared Mentorship Program pairs first-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) Undeclared students with upper-year student peers who were once enrolled in the Undeclared program to help them explore their areas of academic interest.
By participating in this program, mentees have the opportunity to:
- Meet with an Undeclared Support Mentor from September to April throughout their first year at Carleton
- Build knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their academic and career goals, such as declaring a major
- Proactively identify and develop transferrable skills and apply career research strategies
- Gain support and resources to have a successful transition to university
For more information about the program or becoming a mentee, please contact the Undeclared Advising Team at undeclaredadvising@carleton.ca or 613-520-6611.
