Undergraduate Studies

The Bachelor of Economics (B.Econ) degree is a 20.0 credit, four-year Honours program. Students who wish to focus their studies may choose to complete either one or two of the eight available concentrations:

The Department also offers a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Economics.

Choosing a concentration can be difficult, it all depends on your interests.

Graduate Studies

Our exceptional M.A. program can be completed in one year, with the possibility of an Internship Placement and an optional concentration in financial economics or collaborative specialization in data science, climate, or African studies.

A superb and innovative OCGSE Ph.D. program where graduate students can benefit from the partnership with the University of Ottawa through the Ottawa-Carleton Graduate School of Economics (OCGSE), which offers access to more than 50 economists who teach and supervise graduate students across both universities.
