Congratulations to Professor Piotr Dutkiewicz for the publication of his new co-edited book Hegemony and World Order: Reimagining Power in Global Politics.

Piotr Dutkiewicz (Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada), Tom Casier (University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies (BSIS), Belgium) and Jan Aart Scholte (Leiden University) consider how world power is changing from a multitude of perspectives. They have created a compilation of works that point to the future of how world power will be reconstructed through a complex hegemony where aspects of power, state, and non-state actors will be playing specific roles.

“… We know that we are facing many challenges and those challenges are global. So they require a global response. Our book is about the fundamental question of whether our response to those challenges is adequate or not. And at what configuration of state and non-state actors, these challenges would be met.”
