Summer Campus Access Changes – Campus Avenue Watermain Replacement

As part of a project to complete critical water main work, Campus Avenue has been reduced to one lane. Construction will continue for the duration of the summer and into the fall term.

About the Project

Traffic control and fencing has been put in place on Campus Ave. as part of the Watermain Replacement project, with one lane reduction in effect. The current one-lane closure extends down Campus Ave. between Rideau House and the Nicol Building. Library Road will remain open and accessible from Campus Ave.

Drivers and pedestrians will be able to travel south on Campus Ave. but may experience delays. Please obey all flag people and updated signage.

Construction will continue over the months to come. During the construction period, workers will be onsite between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. during business days.

There will be noise during these times. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this period.

Regular updates will be provided as the work progresses. This project is taking place as part of the Summer 2026 Campus Access Changes.
