The theme of 2024 TISDC is ‘Equality’. TISDC would like to provide an opportunity to student designers to show the world their talents and designs.
Three categories are included: Product Design, Visual Design and Digital Animation. The theme “Equality” is in accordance with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015. The TISDC calls on students to treat others with the same level of respect and warmth. Students are encouraged to blend and co-create a more beautiful and diverse society through the power of design. This aims to realize the vision of ‘Equal Respect and Universal Love; Embracing Diversity and Fostering Harmony’.

TISDC – Who Are We? What Do We Do?
Organized by Taiwan Ministry of Education, executed by Asia University, sponsored by iSee Taiwan Foundation, Sayling Wen Cultural & Educational Foundation, and TPCA Environment Foundation, 2024TISDC is in its sixteenth year. Throughout years of endeavor and effort, 2023TISDC attracted a total of 56 countries/region worldwide, 1,161 schools to join the competition, receiving 18,367 registration entries among the categories, which set a new record and indicated that TISDC is indeed the most participated, with the highest award’s international student design competition in a worldwide scale.
TISDC Prizes
The prizes of the Competition include: 1 Grand Prix, 1 Gold Prize, 1 Silver Prize, 3 Bronze Prizes, and several Honorable Mention Prizes for the three categories of “Product Design,” “Visual Design,” and “Digital Animation,” respectively; International Design Association Special Prizes, sponsored by iSee Taiwan Foundation & Sayling Wen Cultural & Educational Foundation. The Brand Specified Special Prize: Environmental Sustainability Award and Special Region Award sponsored by TPCA Environment Foundation.Chiayi City Special Prize offered by Cultural Affairs Bureau of Chiayi City Government.
