ABOUT THE MDES PROGRAM / What is graduate study?
Graduate study is the first level of post-graduate qualification that usually takes a full-time student two years to complete the work. It is an advanced program of education that is usually entered into once a Bachelor’s degree has been obtained. Graduate study is not a simple continuation of undergraduate experience but significantly different in terms of the curriculum setting, structure, workload and deliverables. For instance, more work is done on an independent basis through a much closer relationship with supervisors.
In addition, attending extracurricular activities, seminar and academic conferences is what makes graduate school so diverse and multidisciplinary.
