Biography
Dalton is your VP External for the second year in a row, he is a mature student in 4th year and went on exchange to TUDelft in The Netherlands in his 3rd year. He has completed two internships, the first as an Innovation Engineer at CEAD Group a LFAM Company(Large Format Additive Manufacturing) in The Netherlands and the second as a Product Development Engineer at 3M Canada. Dalton’s design interests are rooted in sustainability, materials, and technical/engineering design.
Having worked over 10 years before studying Industrial Design, Dalton knows first hand the value of having work experience prior to graduating. His main focus this year will be developing greater support for students with securing internships.
Outside of school, Dalton is still working at his internship at 3M, raising a newborn daughter with his wife and two cats, and when he has a bit of free time he enjoys reading, trying a new recipe, or working on his motorcycle.
