The introduction of a ‘dot’ in personal @carleton.ca email addresses is now complete.
Incoming email messages
Both firstname_lastname@carleton.ca and firstname.lastname@carleton.ca will be accepted for existing members of the community. There is no need to alter any printed material to reflect the change (ie: business cards and publicized email addresses).
Outgoing email messages
Outgoing messages will come from the “dotted” email address. This will have no impact on your day to day emailing. If you send emails to a LISTSERV using your Carleton email address, please visit our FAQ.
Going forward, official email addresses for new members of the community will only have the “dotted” format.
