In October, we began rolling out Windows 10. We’re on a roll! There are currently over 1000 staff and faculty systems on Windows 10.
Reading Week Upgrades
We would love to do several upgrades over reading week (Feb. 21-24th) as it is a quieter time for many folks.
The upgrade takes approximately 2.5 hours, during which time users will not have use of the PC.
In order for the upgrade to occur, the computers must be:
- powered on
- on campus
- physically connected to the network

If this timing works and you would like to have your system upgraded to Windows 10, please contact the ITS Service Desk.
What to Expect After Your System is Upgraded
The Windows 10 interface is not a lot different from Windows 7. You should have no issues locating the tools you need to do your work. Any custom settings (bookmarks, desktop icons, or signatures) will remain the same. We have answered some of your post-upgrade questions here.
