ITS is proud to launch its Year in Review for 2022/23, available now at Carleton.ca/its-year-in-review. We are pleased to present this report showcasing some of our achievements and undertakings in the last fiscal year.
Looking back at ITS’s efforts and successes over the last year, three main themes begin to emerge:
- Academic and Learning Support,
- Collaboration and Communication,
- and Security and Infrastructure.
Highlights of the past fiscal year include the launch of Carleton’s inaugural Digital Strategy and Roadmap, which aims to determine the role of digital technologies in achieving Carleton’s Strategic Integrated Plan (SIP). It is an opportunity to reflect on the use of digital technologies across Carleton and to create a strategic direction for the future.
Another achievement is Carleton’s new mobile app, which launched in January 2023. The app, co-developed by the Office of the Vice-President, Students and Enrolment (OVPSE) and Information Technology Services, takes advantage of new technologies and capabilities to further enhance the overall student experience.
It doesn’t end there. We also have fantastic stories about how ITS supported bulk emailing on campus with the introduction of Campaign Monitor, the record-breaking use of Carleton’s Campus Card, and the increasing interest in our security awareness offerings among students.
