- Access to Courses
The University strives to provide students with access to courses, but there are factors that may limit the availability of some courses. Students looking for a space in a course can add themselves to a waitlist. Students Who would like to ask to have a restriction waived can submit a registration override request.
- Admissions Holds
Holds placed on your account by Admissions Services do not prevent you from registering. You can see if you have any holds placed on your account in Step 1 of the Registration menu in Carleton Central.
- Block Registration
Students in the Bachelor of Architecture, Industrial Design, Information Technology and Bachelor of Engineering degrees have many (or all) of their first-year courses pre-selected. Each of these courses will appear in your worksheet. You will need to complete your course selection, but when you do this, you should not delete or substitute any of the pre-selected courses without consulting with your department first.
- Carleton Central
Registration at Carleton is done on the Web through Carleton Central. You can log in to Carleton Central via the myCarleton Portal.
