Carleton University is actively expanding its offerings in Micro-credential and Professional Development non-credit courses, and are now able to accept proposals through Courseleaf from faculty and staff who are interested in developing and teaching these non-credit courses.
Microcredentials are short, skill-specific courses designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s workforce. They offer a unique opportunity for professionals to upskill and reskill, aligning with in-demand job requirements. Micro-credential courses are approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education and are eligible for the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), ensuring accessibility and affordability for learners.
Professional Development courses at Carleton provide a platform for continuous learning, allowing individuals to enhance their expertise and stay competitive in their respective fields. These courses are tailored to promote productivity, innovation, and growth within organizations.
