A group of 4th year project students from Systems and Computer Engineering, supervised by Eran Ukwatta, took 2nd place at the Eastern Ontario Paper Competition, after first winning the IEEE Carleton Student Paper Competition. The regional competition was against the best teams from universities from Ottawa to Kingston for a prize of $600 – $650, with 5 teams participating. The students came up with the project idea on their own.
