The Annual CASRAI conference brings together the key actors involved in funding and administering Canadian research such as SSHRC, NRSEC, CIHR, ISEDC, CFI, Research Data Canada, University VPs of research, data librarians and archivists, those who manage research data resulting from research and design the applications, and the people and organizations who are building the research data infrastructure and ecosystem. Lauriault was invited to keynote at Reconnect16 on the topic of Technological and Data Citizenship: “Today’s Data Grow Tomorrow’s Citizens” What? Research data management, citizenship and democracy? She also participated in the workshop on building Canada’s Research Data Management Infrastructure.
