Georgia Andromidas

Biography

Having grown up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Georgia is a true prairie girl at heart. She graduated in 2018 with a BA from the University of Manitoba, double majoring in psychology and sociology. Georgia has always had an interest in studying the way people think and how they interact. She is fascinated by the power that media, culture, and trends have on society, especially social media and how it gives individuals the ability to create their own personal brand and influence millions.

After taking a course in popular culture and media in her undergrad, it encouraged Georgia to tie in her knowledge and interest of this field with her love of writing, which is what drove her to come to Carleton and pursue her Masters of Journalism degree.

Personal hobbies include cheering for the Winnipeg Jets, reading any book she can get her hands on, and religiously following her favourite fashion bloggers.
