Lois Tuffin

Biography

Lois Tuffin, Editor-in-Chief with Peterborough This Week, developed the newsroom from an underdog to a trusted community champion. A veteran of city councils across Eastern Ontario, she has been recognized as Editor of the Year for Ontario’s community papers, Innovator of the Year in North American media and the winner of the Mary Knowles Award for media leadership in Ontario. She has additional awards for editorial writing, column writing and reporting on education and the arts. She is now a freelance writer aiming to change the world anew.
