Sara Selma Maref

Biography

Sara Selma Maref is a graduate from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature, Communication, and Hispanic Studies. She is currently responsible for communication at the Data for Society Hub (DSH), a partner of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Montréal (CIRM) and a digital platform to gain insight into the specific challenges and needs of Montreal’s communities. Her research interests are new media, environmental communication, politics, and visual culture. A few other fun facts about Sara Selma are that she loves photography, travel, reading, and enjoys spending time with her family. She looks forward to meeting and working with everyone!
