PhD Sociology Graduate Amanda Wilson to start a two-year Mitacs Postdoc at Lakehead University

Congratulations to Amanda Wilson (PhD Sociology with a specialization in Political Economy). She is starting a two-year Mitacs Postdoc at Lakehead University, working with Dr. Charles Levkoe, CRC in Sustainable Food Systems, and in partnership with Food Secure Canada.  She will be working on community-academic collaboration in the context of national food policy processes, as part of the CFICE project (Community First: Impact of Community Engagement), based here at Carleton, as well as supporting knowledge mobilization and capacity building in the areas of new farmers and northern food policy.
