PhD Sociology graduate Darryl Leroux publishes new book, Distorted Descent: White Claims to Indigenous Identity
Congratulations to PhD Sociology graduate Darryl Leroux, who has released his new book Distorted Descent: White Claims to Indigenous Identity. The book was praised as “a brave, original piece of scholarship, offered in the context of a politically sensitive and socially controversial subject of Indigenous identity (Pamela Palmater, Ryerson University).” Darryl had a book launch at the University of Ottawa on September 23 and talked to two classes at Carleton on September 24.
