Department of Sociology and Anthropology 2019-2020 TA Excellence Award Winners Announced

Congratulations to the recipients of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology TA Excellence Award for 2019-20: Dirk Boon (Anthropology) and Zoey Jones (Sociology). The Department of Sociology and Anthropology TA Excellence Award is awarded annually to several exceptional TAs. Nominations are collected about TA work in Fall and Winter terms, and assessed based on feedback on TA teaching skills, communication, classroom environment, and any other criteria that nominators feel exemplifies why this individual excels in their role as a teaching assistant. As every year, we had a large number of nominations and we are extremely proud of the outstanding and caring TAs in the department.
