A big congratulations to SocAnth faculty members who received Carleton University COVID-19 Rapid Research Response Grants. Xiaobei Chen will research “COVID-19 and Anti-Chinese Racism” and Blair Rutherford, who along with Doris Buss (Law & Legal Studies, Carleton), Aisha Ibrahim (University of Sierra Leone) and Sarah Kinyanjui (University of Nairobi – Mombasa campus) will research “Attending (to) Class: An Intersectional Study of COVID-19 Adaptation in Universities in Canada and Africa.”
