Sociology PhD graduate Konstantin Petoukhov has been awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship

Congratulations to Sociology PhD graduate Konstantin Petoukhov, who has received a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship (2021-2023) to carry out a project titled “Imagining the Complex Victim of Crime in Restorative Justice.” Under the mentorship of Sandra Walklate, Dr. Petoukhov will undertake his postdoctoral studies at the University of Liverpool’s Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology. Konstantin’s project will theorize the complexities of victimization and victimhood in restorative justice through a critical inquiry that examines how victim status is constituted, negotiated, and framed by victims’ social locations.
