An exciting week for SocAnth current and prospective students

The Department of Sociology is extremely proud to announce various news pieces from current and prospective students for the week of March 21 to March 25, 2022.

Leif Harris, undergraduate Anthropology student, has been conducting research about useful resources in the community as part of his placement course.

Kayla Hagerty, incoming MA student, gave a moving presentation to the Hamilton Board of Health about the opioid epidemic that took her father and kills over 100 people per year in Hamilton. She called for safe supply, decriminalization, and other measures and is calling on council to act. Professor Aaron Doyle joined the delegation in support of Kayla.
