Congratulations to Kevin Partridge on defending his PhD in Sociology

Congratulations to Kevin Partridge on defending his PhD in Sociology on Friday, March 11. Kevin’s dissertation was, “Secure in our masculinities: A phenomenological investigation of private security work in Ottawa”.

Kevin’s defense also marks the final official duty of Professor Emerita, Janet Siltanen. Dr Siltanen has enjoyed a long academic career of 38 years, starting with the University of Edinburgh before joining the Department of Sociology and Anthropology in 1994.
