A Warm Welcome to our New Sociology Faculty Member Carieta Thomas!

Please welcome the arrival of our newest faculty member, Carieta Thomas, who started her appointment in The Department of Sociology and Anthropology on July 1st.

Carieta comes to us from The University of Calgary, where she is completing her doctorate in sociology as we speak. Carieta will bring the diversity of her experiences to the classroom where she will be teaching courses in the areas of race and ethnicity, international migration, gender, sociology of labor, intersectionality, a. o.
