Congratulations to Sociology PhD graduate and Contract Instructor Amanda van Beinum on her new position!

Amanda has accepted a tenure track position as an Assistant Professor in Sociology, with a specialization in the Sociology of Health. In the coming year she will be teaching Introduction to Sociology as well as the Sociology of Healthcare Systems. In addition, Amanda plans to continue working on research started during her postdoc which focuses on a sociological investigation of novel brain stimulation technologies used in the treatment of psychiatric illness. Congratulations Amanda!
