The Sociology and Anthropology Graduate Student Caucus (SAGSC) would like to invite you to Virtual Mike’s Place! SAGSC will be hosting the digital space as a virtual version of a trip to Mike’s Place. In order to enhance the experience, please consider using one of our Mike’s Place Zoom backgrounds – portrait and landscape.
For those new to the department: typically Mike’s Place, the graduate student pub, is a place people can convene for a social chat after an exciting class, colloquium, or just a long day. We hope to keep the spirit of fun, social space open through our virtual school experience by hosting ongoing virtual Mike’s Place events throughout this year – this is the first!
So grab a drink and join us for a casual atmosphere of chatting and general department merriment on Thursday, October 15 at 6:30pm (EST).
